✦ Three · The wall
Why is life worth living? Tell a stranger.
One honest sentence. No names, no links. Someone you will never meet will read it tonight — and that is not a small thing.
No words needed
Can’t find the words? One tap is enough.
No account, no message, nothing to explain. This button counts taps — nothing else is stored.
Leave one burning for whoever comes next.
Read the ones already burning.
The wall stays dark until someone lights it. A few of ours, to begin:
✦ Four · When it is someone else
How to help someone
You don’t need training. You need to show up. Four things that work:
- 01
Ask directly
“Are you thinking about suicide?” Asking does not put the idea there. It opens a door and tells them it’s safe to talk.
- 02
Listen without fixing
No arguing, no minimizing, no rush to solutions. “Tell me more” and silence are enough. Let them finish.
- 03
Stay with them
In person or on the phone, don’t leave someone alone in a crisis. Help keep distance between them and anything that could hurt them.
- 04
Connect them to help
Call a helpline together, or go to emergency services. Then follow up tomorrow, and the day after. Checking in later is part of the help.
- “You have so much to live for.”
- “Others have it worse.”
- “Don’t be dramatic.”
- “I’m here.”
- “You matter to me.”
- “Let’s get through tonight together.”

About this page
No accounts. No tracking. No names. Messages are anonymous and reviewed for safety. We keep no record of who wrote what.
The yellow ribbon: it’s OK to ask for help. That is the whole message, and it has never needed a longer one. If tonight you are the one who needs it, the line at the top is for you.
This page follows safe-messaging guidance: no methods, no numbers that shock, no stories that end. Only the ones that keep going.
